NZ Day 9: Arrowtown + Queenstown

This is our last night at the Southern Island. We went to a nearby town called Arrowtown. This town was previously a gold mining city. You still can see the history of it on the museum. At first we found this church near the town center named St. Patrick Catholic Church.
What a peaceful place

Nearby toilet: Girl's nightmare

After that we go directly to see the Arrowtown Town Centre, the area looks like an old town theme arena in Universal Studio.

The most crowded place in here was a candy store called "The Remarkable Sweet Shop" which sells local and imported sweets (later I found out that they also have a branch in Queenstown town center).

Can only afford to buy one small bag *sob*

Our next destination is AJ Hackett Bungee in Queenstown. AJ Hackett Bungee is the world pioneer of commercial Bungy Jumping.
Which smile you prefer? That girl or us?

None of us had that much courage (and money) to jump from that bridge. But lucky us, we had a chance to see someone doing a bungee jumping there.
Maybe he jumped to find a new definition of life

Then off we go to our last destination for the night, Queenstown town center. A lot of shops and restaurants here, also some souvenir shops. In the end, this is our last pit stop on the Southern Island. On the next day we're going back to Auckland. Back into the big city life. I'll miss Queenstown. Maybe we'll have a chance to come again sometimes. *fingers crossed*
The Peaceful Queenstown

We heart Queenstown
